Hello, my name is Maritza Farfan, and I welcome you to my Day Home "Growing Bright".
I'd like to share that I have higher education in Psychology and Education, and I work as an early childhood educator. I'm from Peru, located in South America, a country known for its diverse and delicious cuisine.
I love working with children and being part of their evolution, development, growth, and safety, keeping in mind that early education is the foundation for future learning, and the child of today is the adult of tomorrow.
As an educator and educational psychologist/counsellor, I have worked in my home country, then in Miami, Florida, USA, and in recent years in Calgary at the Creative Learning Preschool and the Smart Little People Bilingual English-Spanish Preschool in Kindergarten, where I was a Spanish teacher in Cochrane, AB.
After this long journey as an educator, I decided to help my community where I currently live and nearby communities by opening my Day Home "Growing Bright". I continue to contribute to childhood development with my knowledge, experience, patience, and love, ensuring parents feel that their children are in a welcoming and safe home.
